At SVBF we believe in transforming and passing on our rich religious and culture values to our younger generation who are less exposed to it. We earnestly believe that in today's world it has become necessary for any organization such as SVBF to transform itself into an establishment of facilities that encourages society's religious, social, cultural and spiritual needs.

SVBF offers the following FREE classes for anyone who is interested in learing a language or music or bhajan and we would be adding more disciplines in the near future. currently the following classes are being held.

Swami Kripamayananda of Vedanta Society of Toronto officially inaugurated the Adi Shankara Vidyalaya on 21 October 2012.

(*) The Heritage classes at the SVBF is based on 'Purna Vidya' by Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati and is authored by Swamini Pramananda Saraswati and Sri Dhira Chaitanya. Along with understanding our rich Vedic Heritage, this program helps children develop a reverential attitude towards our culture and tradition by shlokas, 16 step pooja, value systems, festivals, rishi lineage, festivals and samskaaras.

Please note that all the above classes are free classes conducted by Volunteers. It is the student's / participant's responsibility to check with the Teacher / Coordinator about the changes, if any. Please be courteous and respectful to teachers and fellow participants and be prepared for any last minutes changes / cancellations. While every effort will be made by the Teacher / Coordinator to inform of any changes / cancellations, it is not the responsibility of the Teacher / Co ordinator, if some changes are not informed, due to unavoidable circumstances.
