SVBF Joins India Independence Day Parade SVBF Canada took a very big contingent of members / volunteers and devotees to take part in the India Independence Day parade organized by Panorama India on Saturday 11 August 2012 at the Yonge Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. The contingent braved the rains and enthusiastically dressed the children as Sri Rama, Lakshmana, Sita and the Vaanara Saina. The SVBF team was lead by professional Nadaswaram players and the participants danced all through the parade route. It was indeed a treat to watch the spirit and energy in the team members. SVBF thanks Brinda and Murali for taking the lead in coming up with the "Ramayana Theme", forming the team and taking a big role in organzing the group. SVBF also whole heartedly thanks all the volunteers and members in joining the group, unmindful of the rains and showing the world our presence in the community.
